HARRISON ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT CHOSEN TO RECEIVE THE JERRY MCFARLAND YOUTH AWARD

On Wednesday January 15th Harrison athletes, Ben Johnson and Sydney Shrum represented the entire athletic department as the received the Jerry McFarland Outstanding Youth Organization Award from Governor Asa Hutchinson and Melissa Collins at the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. The Goblins and Lady Goblins received this award based on their community involvement and service. Their activities in the community are numerous and include working with CASA, Special Olympics, SR Olympics, Share and Care, Sharing Kitchen, Hero Camp, peewee sports camps, guest readers at the elementary schools, Big Gobs and providing support for local events. Congrats to all of the athletes and coaching staff on their award and thank you for giving back to the Harrison community.
