BATESVILLE — It is just another year for Harrison Lady Goblin soccer.

Harrison finds itself in another state tournament semifinals.

Friday morning at Lyon College, the Lady Goblins defeated Stuttgart, 6-0, in the Class 4A State Soccer Tournament being held in Batesville.


Sixteen minutes were taken off the clock after Harrison activated the Arkansas Good Sportsmanship Rule with its six-goal lead in the second half.

In the opening games of the tournament against Batesville the freshmen and sophomores took charge.

Against Stuttgart, it was the seniors.

The Class of 2019 scored five goals for Harrison.

Brylie Parker scored Harrison's first goal of the game just 5 minutes into the contest. She received a pass from Kaitlyn Pratt to set the score at 1-0.

It only took 3 minutes until junior Kenzie Parker hit a shot in front of the net to move the Goblins to a 2-0 advantage.

Harrison need seven more minutes to get their third goal of the game. Grace Martin took a pass from Claire Doshier to move Harrison ahead 3-0.

Doshier waited 3 minutes before taking a feed from Pratt and sending it to the net.

Harrison gave rest to the team late in the first half.

It didn't take long for the Lady Goblins to make the game end quicker. Doshier took a pass from Brylie Parker four minutes into the second half to make the score 5-0.

Brylie Parker connected on a shot after taking a Pratt pass to make it 6-0 with 33 minutes left.

Harrison will move to the semifinals on Saturday morning. They will face Valley View at 10 a.m. on Southside High School field. It will be the third field for the team to play on in the tournament.
